Read More...Dr. Shankar MBBS, DOMS, the Director of the Hospital, has decided to provide complete ophthalmic care to patients based on his qualifications and experience. Hence, he established the organization in 1985 as Shankar’s Eye Clinic.
Dr. Sherly Shankar, w/o Dr. Shankar & the Dy. Director, supports him for the entire operation of the hospital. In order to provide excellent eye care and for enhancing quality of service, Shankar’s Eye Hospital has an in-house pharmacy and an optical shop for the patients.
Hospital was a small eye clinic back in 1985 and the hospital today offers its unique services for eye diseases including corneal transplantation and Retinal Surgery.
In the past 31 years, Shankar’s Eye Hospital has grown into the No.1 in the field of eye care assuring International standards of ISO 9001:2008. Over the years, it has evolved into a sophisticated center dedicated to compassionate service for sight.
